For the first 3 varsity years, I roomed with Umie a.k.a Mate. I'm so lucky to have had her as my roommate. Umie has helped me to grow in so many ways... spiritually, emotionally and mentally. I still remember our first week in UTP (formerly known as ITP), the combination of the heaty weather and homesick, I was down with the flu and Mate woke up in the middle of the night to give me a drink of water. She being accustomed to asrama life (former SSP-ian girl) helped me a lot in overcoming my homesickness. Uptill 17, I had never left home before. Also, my roommate who is a good muslim helped enlighten me with a lot hukum2 agama and the beauty of Islam's way of life. Thank you so much mate..... tak terbalas jasa kau...
Anyway, yesterday my roommate and her family came over to the house. Mate married Hadi (also an ex-UTPian) and they are blessed with a beautiful girl, Khadijah Nur Husna or Husna for short.
