GREAT DAY
Ramadhan has arrived again. I thank Allah Almighty for giving me yet another chance to be here today to continue my duties as a humble servant this year. Semoga diterima ibadah puasaku ini.... insyaAllah..
First of Ramadhan.... marks the beginning of the one month long of fasting for Moslems .. fasting not only means to not eat or drink but also from seeing / doing / hearing no evil.
It is indeed a great first Ramadhan day for me. When I opened my inbox this morning I found this mail of aknowledgement and appreciation from this user in Melaka. She made my day.... she made me feel that all my effort all this while were indeed worth of something. A motivation for me to do the best I can in my current demotivated & clueless working place.

IDLAN's CUKUR JAMBUL & AKIKAH
Wah... notice the long silence? Won't even begin to bore you with my whining about how busy I've been at work since 2 of my collegues went for maternity and how after a looong day at work I sleep rightaway after dinner. Lets not even go there!
Anyway, interesting updates about Idlan..... he's already 3 months 3 weeks. Oh ya, he was 6.2kilos when we weighed him at 3 months. Heavy man! I don't need the weighing scale to tell me how heavy he is... my shoulder aches after nursing him.
On Deepavali Public holiday was Idlan's Cukur Jambul and akikah. Kambing feast lah apa lagi! We had it at Seremban at the request of my in-laws. I had in mind just a simple majlis with a small group of family and neighbours.. turned out to be so meriah (meriah = big time feast) with two tents up, PA system outside the house, a whole bunch of people and plus lotsa lotsa food! Idlan was a good boy... although at the end of the session he began to cry due to the uncomfortable wet hairdo ,the noise and everyone trying to get a piece of his cheeks! Just to share... a pix of him here just before he began to cry..... heeeeeee

MARRIAGE
You love someone, he/she loves you back. Then when the time comes after really thoroughly getting to know each other, both decide to bring it to the next level which is getting engaged. Everything so sweet, everything wonderful, everything nice, you just can't wait to get married. At this point you really really know this person by heart, his/her wants, likes, dislikes, aspirations and dreams. Then when you get married and live happily ever after....... hualla..reality check, its not as simple as that!
It is not easy for two people to live together. To be together? No problem! At the end of a looong day, you get to have your own space to go back to. After a bad argument you get to "be free" from seeing his/her face for at least after one nights sleep. When you live together you can't get away from this person! Everywhere you turn around, he / she is there! It really is a sick environment after an argument.... the tension, the hurt from unnecassary words, the anger, the pain ...urghh!! But the beauty is that you will always reconcile (always latest by a day - nobody in their right mind would like to prolong this sick environment) your differences and join hands together at an agreed middle point.
Communicate communicate communicate! We live in this era of open communicaton where modern tools and technology facilitate seamless communication. The tools and technology however are just a facility. What use is this technology if we do not use it?? Plain useless...
If you can't seem to bring yourself to communicate face to face, you can always use technology as the enabler. We've got telephones, handphones, fax machines, SMS, the latest MMS, chat, email, blogs(?) and Voice over IP.
The five most important thing in a marriage union is love, responsibility, trust, understanding and tolerance....which of course has to be communicated to the other half. Not necessarily in words.. it can also be communicated thru your body language and the things you do. The reassuring smile of understanding, the touch of love, making a cup of coffee for him/her and the patience of tolerance.
Do not be dettered from getting married. It is a huge responsibility no doubt, a roller-coaster of emotions, a lot of give and take, a lot of laughter & cry, but the love and life you share will make you feel complete as a person. Life filled with happiness. So if you are still thinking of proposing to your loved one, do not hesitate..... the union of love is a bliss.

The Richest Malaysians
I received this e-mail a few days ago that attached a newspaper clipping listing the 10 richest Malaysians (the names, their wealth and their flagship) source from Malaysian Business/Photos NSTP. Couldn't find this in any of the web page (or didnt look hard enough hehe), so I'll just tell you the wealth & flagship from the newspaper clipping.
Dollars $ cents, wealth never seizes to amaze me.. How do u acquire thaaat much? The newspaper cutting shows the wealth in RM Billion. That's like 1000 million! Can't imagine what I'd do with a single million let alone 1000 million! Wahhh *gleam*
I like watching this segment on TV3's Buletin Utama during weekends -
Bersama CEO hosted by Wan Zaleha Radzi. Very interesting... Makes me motivated to think and try to figure out how to get out of the boundaries of this 'rat race' and make my million bucks. I still haven't figured a way yet but I'm educating myself to be literate in personal money management thru reading mags like Personal Money, Investor's Digest etc, books like Milionaires are from a different planet (azizi ali's) & Robert K's Rich Dad Poor Dad and watching programs like the Brand, and that program about personal finance before 3R on Sundays (erkkk can't remember the program's name!help!).
So, after reading the newspaper clipping from the mail, I went to research their profile on the Internet (bless the Net). I can see you roll your eyes..heh.. Read on!
